MANILA, Philippines - Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo reacted to reports saying that she is threatened by "Star Power’s” first grand winner Angeline Quinto.
In an interview with "The Buzz," Geronimo merely laughed off the rumors, adding that it is not the right attitude.
"Masaya ‘yong iniisip ninyo na may threat. Ano psycho? Hindi, hindi magandang ugali yon," Geronimo said.
Geronimo stressed that she's happy for Quinto, who she considers as a friend.
"Masayang masaya ako for Angeline.
In 2002, Quinto lost to Geronimo in singing competition "Star For A Night."
Geronimo also accepted that, from now on, she will always be compared to Quinto.
The singer believes that it is now Quinto's time to shine.
Last March 6, Quinto and Geronimo held their much anticipated showdown on variety show "ASAP Rocks."
Geronimo admitted that she felt nervous doing a song number with Quinto.
Parang pinag sho-showdown, parang concert ulit. Sana hindi na ganoon sa susunod na production number together para mas magawa namin ng maayos," she said.
Currently, Geronimo is filming her first movie with Action-Drama Prince Gerald Anderson.(abs-cbnnews)
